Tribal Fusion Review
Tribal Fusion - http://www.tribalfusion.com/
The Tribal Fusion business model is centered on high volume traffic from high-quality publishers, which also means high standards for choosing their business partners. Listed as CPM-only, the list of publishers Tribal Fusion carries tends to be pretty exclusive at around only top 1000 sites. Great if you can get in, because the adverting offerings also tend towards premium and brand clients. Add in great customer service and great filter options and you can build a click-worthy site - even if the return may be less than some other companies.
Ad formats available:
- Skyscraper (120×600)
- Wide skyscraper (160×600)
- Medium Rectangle (300×250)
- Large Rectangle (336×280)
- Standard Banner (468×60)
- Leaderboard (728×90)
- Popunder (720×300)
Interface: 8/10
Positive:
Outstanding content filters
Negative:
Very involved sign-up & approval process
The amount of control afforded publishers in choosing their advertising content is one of the biggest pluses of Tribal Fusion. Most publishers report the site as easy to use and give high marks for the quality of information available about accounts and payment details. However, becoming a Tribal Fusion publisher is not easy process. Aside from their qualification criteria and glacial slow response time for new member requests, publishers have found the sign-up process itself more involved than perhaps needed.
Support services: 9/10
Positive:
Great service, step-by-step help
Negative:
Long wait period for replies
At an outside window of two days for replies, Tribal Fusion could find ways to speed up its response process. While certainly not the shortest in the industry, it remains in a range that keeps them competitive with other companies. The reviews of that quality customer care are almost universally positive. Members are also fans, which has translated into great word-of-mouth about the company.
Payment schedule and payment options: 7/10
Positive:
Open and transparent cost payment breakdown
Negative:
Payment rate, check only
For a company that’s doing so many things so well, the fact that the only payment option offered is a mailed check leaves me puzzled. Perhaps in the future other options may evolve, but I wouldn’t hold my breath. Payment rates may be a little lower than other top tier companies, but balanced against overall publisher satisfaction and cost of doing business seems to be well worth it.
eCPM: 8/10
Not the highest average return but solid for a top tier network. Works best for high traffic US & UK based sites with a channel target that matches their list that they can point top advertisers toward.
Overall rating: 8/10 – Good
Tribal Fusion is an exclusive club which has high publisher standards and if you have the Alexa rating and you can get in, its worth the trouble.
